We wanted a shower to replace a Jacuzzi tub in our master bath. At the Capital Remodel + Garden Show at Dulles Expo Center on February 24, Brent described Renken’s services, offered a discount & scheduled a site visit. On March 1, Joe visited our home to discuss our project & gave us a proposal that we accepted. On March 31, Dan took measurements to order materials. On May 13-14, Mahadi did excellent work to remove the existing tub & tile, redo the plumbing & electrical & install a new 60″ x 36″ shower. It includes a Carrara marble wall system, 3 shelves, chrome fixtures, dual bypass doors & window frame. Renken was responsive to all our requests & we are very happy with the new shower.

Renken did an AMAZING job on our shower remodel. Their salesman was kind, courteous, direct and honest with us. Everything we asked for happened within the timeline they said it would. And the shower looks awesome. I would recommend them to anyone!

Just had a great bathroom remodel from Renken Remodeling! Kay and Dan were endlessly patient with me while I dithered about which option I wanted for the shower/bathtub walls, and Dan again waited patiently for me to research and choose floor, vanity, toilet and sink fixtures. He had perfectly fine recommendations, but didn’t blink an eye when I changed everything. 😊 It’s a small bathroom, so instead of a team we had one guy, Mahadi, who miraculously did everything single-handedly in four days. Then Dan cheerfully sent people back several times to deal with my punch-list items. (Every construction project ends up with a punch list, but not every company responds so graciously and quickly. I’ve had projects where they want final payment before they leave, and then you never see them again and can’t get in touch.). The professionalism and responsiveness of this company throughout this whole process, from beginning to end, has been remarkable. And what a beautiful bathroom I have now! Would never have believed it could look this good. And I think it was done at a very reasonable cost – great value for the money. I really wish I could attach some pictures – I already sent some to friends and family. Well, I see others have attached photos – I will try to figure that out.

Renken replaced my old jacuzzi tub with a beautiful shower stall, replaced the toilet seat, replaced the vanity faucet, replaced damaged subfloor, installed missing supports for the subfloor and installed a new title floor.

Ryan recognized right away that what we were looking for was not compatible with his “typical”services . He was honest and helpful in pointing us in the right direction and didn’t try any high pressure tactics on us . A refreshing rarity these days

Ryan was great! After having a few companies out and not wanting to waste Ryan’s time or ours I asked for the bullet-points of the presentation. Ryan listened! After 20 minutes he had us sold. The price was comparable to those we had quoted previously and they were able to get it completed sooner than what our other local companies said. Ryan was very professional and listened to us, which ultimately led to us choosing Renken.

Did a shower renovation from a very out-of-date shower. Installation was supposed to take 2 days The installer was great he came out and did it in one. Was very professional and explained all of his work before he departed. honestly have no complaints about the services provided by this company. Everything turned out exactly if not better than I expected. Kudos to both the installer and the organization.

Ryan was very nice and professional. We needed to replace our shower door only, and Ryan indicated that his company does full remodeling, not partial. However, he gave some advice on the replacement and he helped us to search for the correct home improvement provider that can replace our shower door. We really appreciated his help.

Ryan the service rep had to come back to the house to install a longer handheld hose that was backordered. Ryan was fantastic, he was very quick and professional. Very personable and wanted to make sure I was satisfied with his work. He was very good with our beagle, Playdoh, that just loved him and wanted to be with him.

Renken Remodeling for bathroom remodeling was a superb experience!! Hector and his team of Jared and Wayne were delightful to work with. They were always on time, very professional and did a beautiful job with our tub to shower conversion and new double sink vanity. They were meticulous about the entire job and cleaning up. The overall process was one of the best I’ve ever had with a remodel. Renken came and tore out my old shower and replaced it with their product.

Joe was the most accurate estimator and efficient project manager for this project. He consistently kept us clued in when materials were arriving and when installation was supposed to complete. The shower is like a dream and at a HUGE value for what we got quotes for anywhere else.

The installation team worked so hard and finished in 2 days. Back to back days and THEY WORKED. Very impressed.

My new shower replacement went very well and I would rate it a 5, assuming that is the good end of the scale. I was very happy with the available selection of materials, the availability of custom sizing, and the overall interaction with the planner. I appreciated the ability to reschedule after a 19 hour power outage collided with the first attempt to install. When they came back the shower installation team did a beautiful job and made the extra effort to keep the house clean while they worked. They did all the work in under a day. The glass installation team was just as professional and efficient installing the frameless glass sides and door. The finished shower is beautiful and everything I hoped for when we started. I had my guest bathroom remodeled and it was the most pleasant and professional experience I have ever had with contractors working on my house. In 30 years of living here and multiple jobs done Renken Remodeling was the best.

They set expectations properly. Set clear lines on what i needed to do and what they would do. Arranged a schedule and worked to keep it. But the absolute best part was their flexibility in dealing with my major family emergency. They worked with me to adjust the schedule around our needs and they finished when they said they would.

Very pleased with company’s follow up to address the few concerns we had. Very professional response. Our project manager, Joe, personally took interest providing a better solution to the threshold leading up to the new shower floor. So much so he himself came out within two weeks and installed a beautiful marble floor piece. We are very pleased with our shower.

Our installer, Hector arrived prompt and ready to work just as they assured me that they would. The job took about 8 hours, but I couldn’t be more satisfied with their finished product. Renken Remodeling made my wishes come true for a remodeled shower and tub in my master bathroom. My install was done within the timeframe that they originally gave me and it was done in 2 business days instead of 3. A couple of service calls were needed for cosmetic touch-ups and a leak repair, but each visit brought about all expected resolutions. Kudos goes out to my lead installer, Hector, for the ways he went above and beyond to ensure that my remodeling work exceeded the initial remodeling plans. I am also appreciative of how his partner Chris worked to ensure that all work was done very efficiently and everything was cleaned up quickly. I am thrilled to be using my new bathroom and am enjoying how much more spacious and spectacular the area is as compared to before. A special thanks goes out to LMN Glassworks for my custom-crafted glass door and glass wall. I was very pleased with Renken remodeling. I had a bathtub removed and had a shower stall put in. The two employees that came Hecter and Chris were very knowledgeable of there craft. They took their time preparing the areas before starting work. They took out the old tub and walls and found out that the pipes for the new shower stall were in the way. Redken was very helpful in finding us a plumber to get the pipes in the correct place. The next day Hecter and Chris were back on the job. They cut all materials on sight to fit the walls. I had handrails put in my shower and they are terrific. I would recommend Renken and I will call them again when I am ready for a new vanity. jVery pleased with the service. Our bathroom looks beautiful and wonderful! We had water, leakage, mildew, and mold, and then unlevel floor. They were able to take care of everything and refinish it beautifully. They were professional schedule things and did what they said. We are very pleased with our work! The men, in particular who came to do the bathroom remodel were very understanding of toddlers and family life. They were so gracious and kind to our family!

Great service on the entire project!

We had Renken tear out our old tile shower in the master bath and replace it with with a custom built acrylic wall shower with sliding glass doors. The new design Renken helped us come up with makes the bathroom feel twice as large. Hector and Chris were very professional and did a great job. We are thrilled with the outcome and wonder why we did not do this years ago.

Mahati came to our house to redo our shower, put down flooring, install a new toilet and set a vanity. He was punctual every day and the first day he set up coverings on our floor. Every day he cleaned up all his tools and materials. Mahati’s work is excellent and asked us if he needed to know how we wanted something to look. My wife and I went to a home show last year (2022) looking for a company to reface our shower, remodel our bathtub area, replace the flooring, and put in a new toilet in our master bathroom. It was a great experiance from estimate to installation. Installer worked fast and was very professional. They’ve got some good technology that’s not available at lowes. Ended up making it look easier than expected with my odd bathroom layout. I can DIY most things but decided against trying my own bathroom for obvious reasons. What took them a day would have taken me a month.

They were all professional. Nice and courteous. We had 2 bathtubs removed and 2 walk in showers put in. The job was done very well and fast. Once the materials were, they set up dates to have the work started and completed. They were completed the day they said they were. The guys were very professional and kept everything clean. We had our shower remodeled by Renken And specifically Mahadi. Mahadi has been doing this work for Renken for 5 years and this type remodeling for 17 years. He was absolutely amazing. His experience and skill are top of the line! He never stopped working hard and worked thru some tricky demolition and installation challenges. Every house has some kind of challenge to the remodeler or the home DIY. Usually stuff like nothing is level or square! I started this project to fix a leak and decided as a Home DIY guy this was way above my skill. Glad I called Renken. Even though I contracted with Renken Remodeling before the pandemic struck, Renken was very understanding and worked with me patiently through all the delays. Angela was absolutely indispensable in keeping this project on track through the years and, this year, Brent updated my project plan and kept me posted on the timeline for completion. Renken is a solid choice for your remodeling work if you are looking for great value, professional interactions, and quick installation. Don’t expect quite as much detail and flexibility as you might get with a custom contractor, but you will get a quality install quickly for a great price. They may not be the best fit if you need extensive electrical, drywall, painting, or plumbing work associated with your remodel, as their quote did not include these services. They do, however, have a very attentive sales and support team and we are happy with the products installed. Renken completed the work in 2 days, and it looks great! This is a great choice if you aren’t looking for a DIY remodel, but also don’t want to invest the time and money in working with a more custom contractor.

The remodeling of my shower and bath area of my master bathroom is complete and I am very happy with the whole process and especially of the end result. Starting with the estimate interview which was no pressure but once I saw the estimate, I couldn’t say no! Brent worked with me to develop the bathroom I needed and could afford. The workers at each step were excellent, they did their job professionally and not in a hurry. Initial installation took an extra day because the installer Mahadi took time to help me with a separate plumbing problem which developed at the same time. The remainder of the work, measuring and installing went according to a mutually agreed upon schedule. The finished product is just what I hoped for and I am very pleased with the attention to my concerns and questions and excited about getting to use my new shower! In addition, I would like to add that I appreciate the attentiveness to my calls. Service over and above 😊

When we researched vendors, Renken emerged as a top reno company. We’d already had bad luck with a shower glass repair vendor (after the trauma of the shower glass door shattering unexpectedly while I was about to shower . . . not pretty, shards of glass and a bloody arm) and decided to do a complete wet space reno. Owner Brent did not oversell, and we loved his authentic approach as well as his sound business strategy, and price point too. Renken’s contractors are the utmost professional and courteous. When we asked Brent about touchups to the project, he did not hesitate to come through. Included in our job were putting up new shelves and a new light fixture, both nice to haves. We are grateful for the truly amazing job that Renken’s professionals did. In addition, our front storm door needed a little love, and Dan Cronk who came to do the bathroom touchups, offered to fix our storm door and attach the new part so that it closes on its own. Needless to say, we are deliriously thrilled that our storm door has been fixed (it’s been on our to-do list for years)! Thank you, Brent, Mahady (sp??) and Dan for an easygoing experience with Renken! We will be sure to contact Renken again for any future bathroom projects.

I had two bathrooms done in two days and each day they cleaned up so you would never have known they were there. I had some last minute adds which they handled without issue. Ethan came to our house and did a thorough explanation of their product offering. He had samples of the colors and patterns available. It was easy to pick out what my wife wanted. While I was sold on having a fully remodeled Master Bath my wife was being more practical and persuaded me to just have the shower renovated and have the surround for the garden tub to match the shower. She also didn’t want a 4 to 6 week process for the project. When she was told it was 2 days tops to include removal of the old materials and rebuilding whatever was needed to ensure mold wouldn’t be an issue before doing the installation, well that sealed it for her.
Dave arrived about a week later to do the measurements and pictures of the space. He answered more questions for us which was very helpful.
For scheduling and coordinating, Amber and Ebony were awesome to work with. Amber called us as we got closer to the install. We only had to delay by one day due to a part not arriving on time. Amber was apologetic but sometimes things happen. We had flexibility in our schedule so it was fine.
Mahadi was our installer. I worked from home and he asked questions as he went along to make sure that he could proceed at certain points. He was very methodical in his approach and ensured that the anti-mold treatments were applied appropriately. His workmanship was top notch. He had some tricky angles to work around with the garden tub and platform. He did it expertly and the results met our expectations.
The Renken Team are local to Frederick which was a selling point for me as I want to support our local businesses.

Converted tub to shower, 1 day installation! Professional from start to finish, it was very smooth working with them. I appreciated how thorough and transparent they were in regards to pricing and timeline of the whole project. Not the cheapest of the contractors I got quotes from but their labor and materials came with warranty and 1 day installation was worth the cost. Plus, their quote was still a bit cheaper than other well known national brands that offer similar service. Highly recommend Renken!

This was our first remodeling project and the Renken team provided a great, stress-free experience from beginning to end. The entire team (Brent, Dan, Amber, Roberto) were a joy to work with and very responsive throughout our project. Our original master bathroom had an odd layout and quirky features, but Brent and Dan provided a solution that met our needs and was within our budget. Roberto and the installation team completed the install in 2.5 days, and we were extremely happy with the results. They did quality work and just as important, they covered up our floors and furniture to avoid dust and debris. Roberto cleaned up after each day, which was great since part of the workspace was our master bedroom.

Hector and Chris arrived on time. I was asked did I want to keep any fixtures from the old shower. The team promptly went to work. They took care to cover the floor area from entrance to work area. I can’t say enough about Renken Remodeling – Luxary Bath. We did a bath or shower conversion. It looks wonderful we are very satisfied. The Design consultant – Joe was amazing. He was very patient with all our questions and concerns and walked thru everything with us a couple of times. Mahadi and Ryan the installers – were very professional and the install was done in 1 day. You could hardly tell they were even in the bathroom. At the end of the day Mahadi walked thru everything with us about the product and made sure we were completely satisfied. We hardly knew they were in the house. Excellent customer service. Ryan the service rep had to come back to the house to install a longer handheld hose that was backordered. Ryan was fantastic, he was very quick and professional. Very personable and wanted to make sure I was satisfied with his work. He was very good with our beagle, Playdoh that just loved him and wanted to be with him. A very professional group of people to work with. I was looking for a bathroom contractor to help install a new walk-in shower surround in my elderly Aunts bath. She lives in Maryland and I live in Texas. I found Renken Remodeling and so glad I did, from start to finish these people were awesome. They kept me updated on all aspects of the process. They even went as far as upgrading the shower tile at no extra charge for my Aunt. Mahadi did the Install and it is beautiful and cleaned up afterwards. Joe (with the good hair) was excellent in his visit to confirm measurements. He was able to squash any concerns that sprouted since the last visit. He peppered us with information on what to expect. Our main concern was with a leek in the bottom of our existing shower, and he listened and reassured us of the plan to address that. The communication was great and he lettuce know when we should hear back. He really beet the competition. We couldn’t be happier than a corn on a cob.

Renken worked diligently and hard to complete the job. They did a wonderful job.

It took a while for the shower stall materials to come in (about 10 weeks) due to circumstances beyond their control (pandemic, supply chain), but they kept us apprised of the schedule. Once everything came in, installation was quickly set up for the following week and only took about 5 hours. The work done by Renken was excellent, from tear out of the old shower to completion. They were careful to wear masks, cover carpeting and vanity items, and professionally assemble the shower stall. The end result is a major improvement over our former ceramic tile and shower hardware. All we’ve had to do since then is remove a water restrictor and use white vinegar and a squeegee to clean the doors and walls. After a week of use, all of it works well and looks great.

The real highlight of our experience was the installers. They were a breeze to work with, did gorgeous work that exceeded our expectations, and fast!!

From design to completion my new shower and tub are exactly as I had envisioned.

My new tub/shower came out great. I was worried acrylic would look cheap but I am happy with it in person. Installation took about 8 hrs and the crew even took care of an issue with my dryer vent which was causing mold. Overall a good experience. The only issue is it took 3 months for all the pieces to arrive, but I can’t place the blame on them.

Hector and Jared just completed removing the 31 year old shower & shower/tub in two of our bathrooms and replaced them both with new beautiful products from Renken Remodeling in two days! What an awesome difference! If we could give “10” stars to Hector and Jared, we would. Both installers were terrific to have in our home and we enjoyed the time we got to not only observe their skilled workmanship but also to associate and converse with them each day. Did a shower renovation from a very out-of-date shower. Installation was supposed to take 2 days The installer was great he came out and did it in one.
